Mendelt & Marisa,
What beautiful pictures!!! You have a beautiful family. When I look at them (the pics) I find it hard to believe (the cancer part). Praying & thinking of you often. Hoping to find the words to say to encourage you both, but in reality it is ironic that you’ve encouraged us. Although you may not begin to understand how you’ve touched us/ministered to us, you have-you’ve shown Sam & I how to focus on what’s important. Praying that God will restore you to full health and give you lots of strength/energy. Lots of love, Sam & Leona

hello, Marisa, and Mendalt
I have heard so much from Jen, these past few weeks, and as i sit here, and read your different prognosis’s, I am almost crying, and as I think about it, me just reading it, and almost crying, but you are experiencing it, I am so touched by your faith, and strength, I am praying every day for a miracle to happen. You mean so much to everyone, and no matter how long your journey is, I will keep praying. I have a list of all people that have cancer, and that need prayer, and you are always the first that come to mind, and I love you both so much(even though I hardly know you).
God Bless,
Love Always,

Mendelt when I see the picture of your son with the spike haircut I think of you and Mike.Do you remember the visit to our house and you two got a hair cut..I know we remember.Actually it was funny eh?
How do we find the words to thank you both for sharing so much and encouraging so many of us to stop and focus on whats important.
Our prayers are with you…

You are right, we do handle the sadness differently, but it is always “the great sadness” that at times overwhelms , at times seaks up on us and and at other times seems to grip us in its claws. And then there are the days we laugh and smile again.
Take care,
Dorene
